Donate Formalwear for a Free Prom Shop at Laman Library in North Little Rock

Cleaning out your closet this winter? Your gently used formalwear can make a meaningful difference for local teens in North Little Rock.

Laman Loft at the William F. Laman Library is now accepting donations of prom dresses, suits, shoes, and accessories for our Free Prom Shop, taking place April 10 and 11 and April 13 and 14. This annual event helps ensure that every teen has access to formalwear for prom, regardless of financial circumstances.

A Free Prom Shop for North Little Rock Teens

For the past two years, the North Little Rock Public Library System has proudly offered a free prom shopping experience for community teens. Through donated formalwear, students are able to shop in a welcoming, supportive environment and choose outfits that help them feel confident and celebrated on prom night.

Prom can be an exciting milestone, but it can also be expensive. By offering a free prom dress and suit shop, Laman Library helps remove barriers so teens can focus on enjoying this special moment.

What Formalwear Donations Are Needed

We are currently accepting clean, gently used formalwear in all sizes, including:

• Prom dresses and formal dresses

• Suits, tuxes, and dress shirts

• Dress shoes

• Jewelry, ties, and other accessories

Donations in a wide range of sizes help ensure that every student who visits the Prom Shop can find something that fits and feels great.

How and Where to Donate Prom Dresses and Suits

Formalwear donations can be dropped off at William F. Laman Library during regular operating hours from now through Tuesday, March 31.

Laman Library is located in North Little Rock and serves as a community hub for education, creativity, and support for all ages. Donating formalwear is a simple way to give back and support local teens.
