Laman Con 2025: A Day of Dragons, Cosplay, and Imagination at Your North Little Rock Libraries!
Step into a world where dragons soar, galaxies collide, and creativity rules the realm at Laman Con 2025! Presented by the North Little Rock Public Library System, this free two-day celebration of fandom and imagination begins Friday, November 7th, at the Argenta Branch with a family-friendly Fantasy Craft Workshop - the perfect warm-up for the following day's epic Saturday adventure. On November 8th, starting at 9 AM, the Laman Library transforms into a multiverse of fun inspired by DnD, video games, and interstellar travel: kids’ scavenger hunts, temporary tattoos, a traveler’s Quest Board, a Trading Card Hunt, vendors and artists’ alley, Minecraft and gaming tournaments, trivia, and creative workshops for every age and fandom. There's even a Tavern featuring fun sips. End the day at the Innovation Hub After Party at 4:30 PM, featuring an adults’ cosplay contest, photo booth, crafts, and trivia. From gamers to makers, readers to dreamers, everyone’s invited to join this comic con style adventure!

Begin your journey Friday evening at the Argenta Branch with an all-ages Fantasy Craft Workshop, then complete your campaign Saturday night at The Innovation Hub for an adults-only Cosplay Contest and Trivia Showdown. Roll for Character (Teen Quest in the Loft)

Step into the spotlight and let imagination decide your fate. In this D&D-inspired activity, teens will roll a series of dice to determine aspects of their character's build - will they have tentacles, or wings, horns or antennae, fangs or a single tooth!? Only the dice know. Perfect for cosplayers, gamers, and storytellers ready to level up their creativity.
