Help Keep Our Community Warm This November with NLRPLS
The North Little Rock Public Library System is proud to support the Mister Rogers Neighborhood Sweater Drive this November. From November 1 to 30, you can help provide warmth to those in need by donating new or gently-used cold-weather items including flannels, hoodies, sweaters, coats, hats, scarves including handmade items, gloves, and more. All donations benefit The Van, a local organization dedicated to assisting unsheltered individuals in our community.
Thanksgiving Closure
The NLRPLS will be closed on Thursday and Friday. As we enter this holiday weekend, we want to take a moment to say how deeply grateful we are for each of you!
We hope you find rest, warmth, and connection in the days ahead. Please know how much we appreciate the time we’ve had together, the work we’ve made together, and the community that has grown within these walls.
Innovation Hub Update
The North Little Rock Public Library System (NLRPLS) is announcing a significant operational change regarding the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub. After a unanimous vote by the Library Board on November 17, 2025, the Hub’s lease will not be renewed in 2026.
The Hub will continue operating as a part of NLRPLS through the end of 2025, providing programs and services to the community. This ensures residents can continue to access the Hub’s resources, classes, and maker programs for the remainder of the year.
